On Saturday night a record number of guests will join as one to celebrate not only the achievements of our State’s best in 2009 but also Netball NSW’s 80th Birthday at the 2009 State Dinner.
In a tribute to the past, the Anne Clark Centre will be transformed from its traditional decor into a masterpiece that will create a magical surrounding for what will be a magical evening.
Hosted by Anne Sargeant OAM, the glitz and glamour that is the Netball NSW State Dinner will be a chance to applaud the achievements and dedication of our players, coaches, umpires, administrators and volunteers.
On the night the following awards will be presented:
- Hall of Fame inductee/s
- Marilyn Melhuish NSW Swifts Player of the Year
- Marj Groves Scholarship
- Anne Clark Service Award/s
- Judy Dunbar Media Awards
- Nance Kelly Medal for DOOLEYS State League Player of the Year
- Neita Matthews Umpiring Award
- Margaret Corbett State League Coach of the Year
A highlight on the Netball NSW calendar, the 2009 State Dinner will be the culmination of our 80th birthday celebrations – a momentous night for a memorable year.
